Sailing on Lake Hauroko

I am an ileostomate and have been so since early 2005, after 15 years of suffering from ulcerative colitis I opted to have an operation, and i become an Osomate. It was one of the best decisions I have made in my lifetime and enabled me to get on and do the many activities that I used to enjoy.

I have created this website for ostomates living in the Otago Region, I hope the information on this site is of use to all ostomates.

Favourite leisure activity:

Meeting friends, Sailing, Biking, Travel and Tramping to name a few.

I enjoy real life books, Tasman Trespasser II (The Shaun Quincey story) Peter Blake (All) Jessica watson (True Spirit) and New Zealand History.

Favourite music:

Josh Groban, Haley Westenra, Daniel O'Donnell, Foster & Allen, Isla Grant and all things Country.

Occupation:
School Property Officer (Retired 1st August 2014)

Travel:

April 1st 2015 for my big OE to the United Kindom (1 month), and Europe (1 month).

A really enjoyable trip, was no problem being an Osomate.
